A metal bed frame complete with shackles and torture instruments remain within each interrogation/torture room. One can even observe the blood-stained floors. An estimated 17,000+ people passed through this prison between 1975 and 1979 with anywhere from 1,000 to 1,500 prisoners at a time. Many of the tortured prisoners were later transported to Choeung Ek (also known as The Killing Fields) where they were executed with crude instruments and buried in mass graves.
