I have been interested in photography since a 7th grade photography class taught me how to use a camera to capture the images in my head. After winning my first point-and-shoot camera on a game show a few months prior, I was hooked. It wasn't until college graduation, where I received my first SLR camera, that my passion was truly ignited. West|LaCount photography was born 3 years later and has had web presence in one way or another since 2001.

My works have been featured in several competitions, published in books, magazines, websites and used as stock photography. I combine my love for photography with my background in Biology and digital marketing. Currently based in San Francisco, California- I work as a web marketer when I am not traveling with my camera.
